SJ:  Joint Defense Operation of the Federative Republic of Brazil with the Government of Greater California – Colombian Aggression Containment

The Ministry of National Sovereignty of the Federative Republic of Brazil hereby reports the initiation and ongoing execution of a defensive military operation in cooperation with the allied government of Greater California, following verified intelligence concerning imminent aggression by the Republic of Colombia.

On July 22, 2025, it was officially confirmed that the Colombian government, under current leadership, is preparing an unprovoked military assault against Greater California, a sovereign allied nation located within Mexican territory. The stated objective of the Colombian government to "expand their legalized drug production zones" via military conquest represents not only an unprecedented violation of international law but also an act of dictatorial aggression and criminal intent. Such justification for war is categorically rejected by the international community and regarded as entirely illegitimate by the Federative Republic of Brazil.

In response to this imminent threat, the Ministry of National Sovereignty has executed the following immediate countermeasures:

1. Maritime Blockade of Colombia:

The Brazilian Navy has enforced a full maritime siege of Colombian territorial waters. The deployed assets include:

10 corvettes

1 helicopter carrier

20 frigates

10 submarines (including 1 nuclear-class submarine)

5 logistical support ships

2 hospital ships

And other classified military vessels and vehicles.

2. Ground Force Deployment:

The Brazilian Army has been mobilized to strategic positions along the Brazil-Colombia border. The Amazon Military Command has been fully activated and deployed to the frontline. Specialized units involved include:

Army Diver Command

Infantry Command

Heavy Vehicles Command

These forces are now fully operational and executing strategic containment protocols.

3. Confidential Air Strike Operation:

On July 22, 2025, at precisely 17:30 Brasília time, a covert air operation was conducted.

15 Gripen fighter jets from the Brazilian Air Force entered Colombian airspace in a precision strike mission targeting hostile military infrastructure.

Strategic assets neutralized include Su-70 fighter jets, Colombian naval vessels, air defense systems  and related military systems critical to Colombian offensive capabilities.

All aircraft have safely returned to Brazilian airbases without casualties or aircraft loss.

Call for Peaceful Resolution

The Ministry of National Sovereignty officially demands that the Republic of Colombia immediately cease all offensive operations and aggressive mobilizations. Brazil urges Colombian leadership to return to diplomatic dialogue, sit at the negotiating table, and resolve internal matters without resorting to unjustified warfare, destruction, and harm to innocent populations.

The Brazilian Armed Forces will maintain the current maritime siege and strategic containment until a successful peace negotiation is achieved and internationally guaranteed.
